To enjoy an energy boost: When you wake up, set your Brilli light at its highest dimming setting (5000K) for at least 20 minutes. Doing so will help boost your cortisol levels. It will also help suppress melatonin levels - the sleepy hormone - to help you feel more alert and energized. A total of two hours of exposure in the morning is recommended to receive the optimal spectrum of benefits.
Feeling a midday energy slump? Adjust the dimmer up to the highest setting (5000K) for approximately 20 minutes between 1PM and 3PM to boost energy, improve alertness and help you regain focus.
To wind down at sunset: Reduce the dimmer to approximately 75% (2700K) to create a warm, relaxing atmosphere. Doing so, will begin to release melatonin – the sleep hormone.
Evening hours and pre-bedtime: Adjust your dimmer down to the lowest setting (2200K) to create the effect of restful firelight that will further promote relaxation and prepare you for sleep.
